Fall Activities in Connecticut

Fall Activities in Connecticut

My favorite time of the year is here and I REALLY cannot wait to do a a lot more fall activities! For those that want some ideas to do in their towns or perhaps Connecticut, my home state, here are some ideas and locations to do ALL the fall things!

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1) Bake a pie

I found the easiest recipe in the entire world that can be found here. It it just 4 ingredients and basically what you have at home will do!

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2) Take a hike to see the *dreamy* foliage 🍃⠀

The foliage is probably the best part of the fall. Take a hike to your closes park or trail and see the foliage. If you're able to head to the hiking trails in the area, I definitely recommend it. A beautiful trail is right next to Quinnipiac called Sleeping Giant

3) Go apple picking with friends and family

A few popular locations to try apple picking are Silverman'sLyman's and Blue Jay Orchards. Definitely head early (before 1pm) to avoid the long lines!

4) Visit a haunted house #spookyseasonishere⠀⠀

If you love being spooked and also want to get into the Halloween spirit, head to one of the haunted houses in the area. Some ideas below -

Trail of Terror

Fright Haven

Tickets are around $25 at both locations.

5) Enjoy some pumpkin flavored beverages ⠀⠀

I'm actually more of a fan of pumpkin beer vs. any PSL. So, this part is really to hype of the Pumpking Beer by Southern Tier - SO GOOD.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
6) Live in cozy sweaters - a classic fave! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It's time to bring on those over-sized cozy sweaters people! Get ready to rotate that closet and wear your coziest sweaters and socks.

There are SO many things to do in Connecticut and during the fall it is even better! Plan your weekends ahead, throw a cozy sweater on and get together with friends at a haunted house!
